Hometown

Lewes William lives just outsite the small town of Lewes in the heart of Sussex, England. The town has a history of being a bridging point and market town. It is now considered to be a communications hub with a population of about 16,000 people.

Arguably the town's most important annual event is Lewes Bonfire, or Bonfire Night - Guy Fawkes Night celebrations on the 5th of November. In Lewes this event not only marks the date of the uncovering of the Gunpowder Plot in 1605, but also commemorates the memory of the seventeen Protestant martyrs. The celebrations are the largest and most famous Bonfire Night celebrations in the country, if not the world.
